Born in 2022 under the Gies Disruption and Innovation initiative, DSRS was founded with a bold vision: to transform Gies College of Business into the world's most data-forward, tech-enabled business school.
We saw a growing need for advanced data science expertise to elevate academic research and unlock new possibilities. What began as a small team supporting a handful of research projects has evolved into a full-fledged powerhouse of innovation bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and academic excellence.
Today, DSRS stands as a catalyst for research breakthroughs, empowering faculty, staff, and students to harness the power of data science and AI to push boundaries, uncover insights, and shape the research at our school.
